Throwing the onion peel when preparing food is the biggest mistake you can make. Onion peel tea recipe
Put a few onion peels in a bowl and pour water over them, then let them soak for 15 minutes, strain the mixture and drink it. Due to the sedative properties of quercetin, the onion peel tea will help you if you’re suffering from insomnia.
The peels are not eatable, but they can be added to soups and stews. They are an excellent addition to your diet due to the insoluble fiber which stimulates peristaltic movement of the colon and flushes out toxins from the body. The fiber will also regulate your pH levels and prevent formation of cancer cells.
